48 PoE+++ RJ45 ports48 on the panel
The RJ45 ports run in two rows in three blocks of 16, odd numbers on top and even numbers below.
Ports 1 to 16 (the left block) are multi-speed 2.5 GbE. Ports 17 to 48 (the middle and right blocks) are multi-speed 10 GbE, down to 10M. All 48 supply PoE+++ at up to 90 W per port.
4 x 25G SFP28 ports4 on the panel
Ports 49 to 52 sit in a 2 x 2 block on the right, 49 and 51 on top. They take 25G, 10G or 1G modules for uplinks to an aggregation switch.
USP RPS DC input1 on the panel
The multi-pin connector on the left of the back panel (marked USP CONNECT) is the DC power backup input. It needs a UniFi Power Backup unit.
AC power inlet1 on the panel
The IEC inlet on the right of the back panel feeds the internal 1,350 W supply from 100-240 V AC. A safety latch next to it holds the power cord in place.
Plan your circuit. The full 1,080 W PoE budget needs 200-240 V AC. On 100-120 V AC the budget drops to 972 W.
PoE budget and power
| Input | Total PoE | Max. power including PoE |
|---|---|---|
| 200-240 V AC | 1,080 W | 1,280 W |
| 100-120 V AC | 972 W | 1,172 W |
Without PoE load the switch draws up to 200 W. Every RJ45 port can deliver PoE (15.4 W), PoE+ (30 W), PoE++ (60 W) or PoE+++ (90 W) within the total budget.
What else is on the front and back
- 1.3 in. touchscreen: on the left of the front panel, with AR switch management.
- Etherlighting: all 48 RJ45 ports and the four SFP28 ports light up to show port location, speed and link, and native VLAN.
- Reset button: at the right end of the front panel.
- Fans: five fans across the back panel.
- RPS LED: shows the state of the backup power input.
