Click a card to light up those ports on the panel above.
8 LAN ports8 on the panel
Ports 1 to 8 are RJ45 LAN ports on the built-in switch. Plug in access points, switches, NVR clients and wired devices here.
1G RJ45 WAN1 on the panel
The single RJ45 port to the right of the LAN block is the 1G WAN. Use it when your modem or ISP handoff is copper.
10G SFP+ ports2 on the panel
The top SFP+ cage is the 10G WAN, for a fiber or 10G handoff. The bottom SFP+ cage is a 10G LAN port, usually the uplink to an aggregation or core switch.
Pick one WAN. The manual shows two ways to connect the internet: option A uses the 10G SFP+ WAN, option B uses the 1G RJ45 WAN.
What else is on the front
- Touchscreen display on the left end of the panel.
- Drive bay in the middle holds one 3.5 in. or 2.5 in. drive for UniFi Protect recordings.
- Reset button is the small pinhole at the bottom right, below the SFP+ cages.
